What would have come first to your thoughts when you are about to design a house? Complex is the answer. Designing a house never been easy because there are themes, landscape, and interiors that you need to think carefully. One step forward into a wrong design might blow up the whole idea of your dream house.
This VitraHaus house design presented by Herzog & de Meuron is definitely complex. It’s not your everyday house design on the block that you could see daily. This is a house with the idea of stacking one after another with inter connection between each room. The look is complex but still able to manage the look of chic and sleekness. Curve frames of the house makes it look like that the curves actually the bare bones and the strength needed to built, but it’s not. The curve frame found in one particular place of this house is designed to add more emphasize that this house is very much contemporary.
As we take a peek inside of this house, you will also notice that you will find a stairway interconnecting between the rooms in a very unique wavy design. This is a perfect match to the exterior curvy frames which I’ve been mentioned before. Huge glasses of windows are found surrounding the house which makes it very typical of a contemporary house design. This is what I called a complex contemporary home design and if you have two houses and wanting to join them together the idea of stacking like this one might be perfect because you don’t need to reconstruct everything. It’s more than a house. It’s a Contemporary work of art.
