What would have come first to your thoughts when you are about to design a house? Complex is the answer. Designing a house never been easy because there are themes, landscape, and interiors that you need to think carefully. One step forward into a wrong design might blow up the whole idea of your dream house.
This VitraHaus house design presented by Herzog & de Meuron is definitely complex. It’s not your everyday house design on the block that you could see daily. This is a house with the idea of stacking one after another with inter connection between each room. The look is complex but still able to manage the look of chic and sleekness. Curve frames of the house makes it look like that the curves actually the bare bones and the strength needed to built, but it’s not. The curve frame found in one particular place of this house is designed to add more emphasize that this house is very much contemporary.
As we take a peek inside of this house, you will also notice that you will find a stairway interconnecting between the rooms in a very unique wavy design. This is a perfect match to the exterior curvy frames which I’ve been mentioned before. Huge glasses of windows are found surrounding the house which makes it very typical of a contemporary house design. This is what I called a complex contemporary home design and if you have two houses and wanting to join them together the idea of stacking like this one might be perfect because you don’t need to reconstruct everything. It’s more than a house. It’s a Contemporary work of art.

First thing first, remember the Rockefeller Minimalist Tropical House with A Garden. This time Rockefeller has done it again with a marvelous house design. Things which I like best about Rockefeller design is that its design uses wooden material, although I think it would be much environmentally friendly if it’s made out of refurbished materials. Still anyway, this time it’s not a minimalist concept but more of a modern house with a simple and extravagant interior design.
The concrete slabs on the wall found inside the house and outside the house which is left as it is without being painted or anything reminded me of most of the building structure which can be found at Macquarie University. They bring much comfort, because when it’s freezing it doesn’t provide much coldness and when it’s hot it can bring the coolness inside the house. Astonishing finish can be found in every aspects and details of this house.
The kitchen which became the heart of every house, especially for this Mandeville Canyon Residence located in Los Angeles, is very simple yet rich of high quality taste of design and material chosen. Due to the Mandeville Canyon irregular shape of the site, this house includes a small grove of eucalyptus and pine trees only one of the 3.5 acres is buildable land. Having a look at the living room you can find a fireplace to make it cozier and warmth during the winter. This house was completed in 2008. Rockefeller Minimalist Tropical House with A Garden

The term minimalism describe a trend in design and architecture where in the subject is reduced to its necessary elements. Minimalist design has been highly influenced by Japanese traditional design and architecture. Who would have thought you still can have your own garden in minimalism. I would rather say this is breaking the habit or maybe breaking the myths.
Designed by Rockefeller Partners Architects, this house is located at Pacific Ocean And Malibu coastline. With a 30×60 dimension area you can have not only a house but also a garden. The structure’s beauty is also determined by playing with lighting, using the basic geometric shapes as outlines, using only a single shape or a small number of like shapes for components for design unity, using tasteful non-fussy bright color combinations, natural textures and colors, and clean and fine finishes. This house uses real wood encapsulated within ordered simplified structures yet still creating nothing but prestigious architecture and interior design.
