The concept of this Villa Kram is based upon a building filled with two families living in one building. Also known as the Hug House, this natural low energy villa was build in order to present the guests of the Copenhagen Climate Change Summit in December 2009 as a showcase for sustainable living. The major attention came at the 13 meters high skylight which provides light for stairs and basement, it also serves as a technical room in controlling the energy consumption distributed around the house. The main purpose of this building is focusing on low consumption of energy. Since this building is eco-friendly project than it can be assumed that it used prefabricated low budget construction. Although it looks decent, the whole suite still look exclusive because of the materials used are suitable. This villa kram house esigned and built in collaboration with Manifold studio.
